Bruce and Margaret felt called to serve the Lord in New Guinea and were commended by the Wentworth Falls, Erskineville and West Pennant Hills Assemblies. God blessed their service as they reached the people with the Gospel, established Assemblies and taught them the Scriptures. They lived and worked under difficult circumstances and I recall tales of flooded rivers and following long difficult tracks through he jungle. On returning from the mission field Bruce and Margaret continued to serve the Lord in various ways but always with a strong and faithful Christian witness.
